Golden Chick

This place used to be great but recently I always have an issue coming here. The food tasted old and inedible and the staff ALWAYS gets my order wrong due to staff half heartedly doing their jobs while on their phones. I tried to be patient since I used to love this place but I’m done being disappointed. They’ve definitely lost me as a customer.

The food never disappoints me. The manager is very nice along with all the employees.

Their chicken salad is SO good. Use it for pot lucks or easy family dinner. And low in calories.

Waited in the drive thru for at least 15 minutes only to pull around, park and take it right back inside. I ordered half crispy and half smoked chicken and my order was all crispy. Lady who fixed the order stated that she didn't hear me thru the headset. Rolled her eyes when I asked for a fresh batch of fries. Extremely unprofessional. Supervisor on duty just stood there as if she was the Help. Never apologized for the order being incorrect. I had already sat 15 minutes in drive thru.

Nice new location on Risinger. I enjoyed the spicy chicken tenders and coleslaw.

Quick and quick easy dinner. Love the teacher discount. Great lemonade.

Everything was right the way I wanted it, I didn't have nothing missing out of it. I like the way they gave me a free ice cream while I was waiting.This is one of my favorite places to go eat at 👍

Great Food & Outstanding Customer ServiceRecently visiting for the first time, my drive-thru experience was not the best. I was short on time so decided to fill out the online survey instead of asking to speak to a manager. In less than 24hrs, I was contacted directly by the owner of this location. He not only listened to my concern, but also genuinely wanted to ensure that I was not left with a negative impression of his store. I cannot express how genuinely impressed I was once our conversation ended. It is nice to have a new spot for a quick meal in this area, and even more inspiring to meet a business owner who cares about the community & the customers it serves. I will definitely be returning.

Dinner rush...25 piece family meal with 3 sides and 6 biscuits...fresh, hot, absolutely delicious...less than 7 minutes with 3 cars ahead of me in drive-thru....Nuff said!

Food is ok. The "spicy" chicken is just seasoned chicken. Update: I should mention the seasoned chicken is pretty decent.

Chicken was crisp and juicy. The okra, however, was not the best.

Great food. Sometimes they can forget that toy asked to make your food spicy. And apparently, they can only make the chicken tenders spicy, and no other kind of chicken.

Very good food and very good service! And the best French fries of any fast food place I have had.

This location is beyond the worst. Not one time have I gone and been able to order what I want off the menu. 3 piece roasted — which should be leg, thigh and wing according to the menu — but they NEVER have the roasted chicken. All we have are wings and breast ... and don’t even offer to say how long it will be to get what you want if you wanted to wait. I went inside last time after being told this in drive thru and had to ask if they had more roasted cooking to be told it was 3 minute wait. But the drive thru personal don’t even bother to offer this information. Completely lacking in customer service at this location.

The roasted chicken is juicy, and not dry. The yeast rolls are delicious. My spicy wings flavor was off just a bit from usual, but may have just been really busy and rushing out the orders.

I was in line for 30 minutes. 20 minutes I sat AT the window. Then when they handed me my food, there was no apology from the young girl brunette on my wait time. When I got home, my order was wrong. They gave me fries instead of my Mac 'n Cheese.The reason I gave 2 stars was because the food was SUPER HOT and tasted good. But in no way should anyone have to wait that long without an apology or the incorrect order. Disappointed. But I'll still keep coming back cause its Golden Chick.

They produce great tasting chicken but are often inconsistent with getting you everything you ordered.

Once they figure out how to get orders right through the drive through it will be 5 stars. Food is excellent.

Made a mistake...was on my way to popeyes for the chicken sandwich. Pulled into the drive thru and saw that it was Golden Chic. Ordered the catfish combo. The fish was over cooked and tasted like chicken....will not make that mistake again.

Good chicken but be ready for a wait of your order catfish they make it fresh to order

The food was really good, we waited 10 minutes for fresh catfish, but it was freshly fried, the dirty rice was surprisingly good also. I would've liked a better price for fast food though!

The chicken was actually really good. They do not give you enough gravy though. Then want to try and charge for more. I was going to pay for it, but there was a minimum charge for a card. Not happy with the customer service.

Go in there at 12:15 on a Friday afternoon and they only have 5 pieces of chicken. I’m trying to get a 10 piece. I ask if they can substitute tenders and they say no substitutes. You will just have to wait until we cook more chicken! Great customer service Golden Chick! I must say I won’t be back!

It was okay the baked or grilled chicken was super salty the catfish is flavorful but had more breading than meet on it mashed potatoes are bland even with gravy. & the Mac is typical of a fast food place.

Golden chick is probably becoming my go to chicken place. My little secret chicken place. With the selection of sides, great chicken, and then those fluffy mouth watering rolls. I truly don't need to go anywhere else for chicken. Then you have the sweet tea, the corn nuggets, the mashed potatoes. Everyone has something to love at Golden chick!

Great mashed potatoes and cream gravy. They do need to season their chicken more.

They have pretty good food all around

I've never been to Golden Chick and wanted to try it out! I didn't even get a chance to order, this place is so slow and the staff (at least the person at the register) lacks the proper training to deal with people and handle more than one thing at a time.

I love the franchise and love the food equally. But I the lady forgot one of my sides that I was charged for after asking her twice for the seasoning packages. I had already made it home from risinger.

My boys and I love this place, we have been 3 times this week. But the guy who works the window and register is not very polite or professional. He is very rude when speaking to customer. And no one their identified them self ad a manger. Tyler is AWESOME and very polite.
